This hack will take you to Costco without a membership

Costco is known for its affordable prices on bulk items and discounts on large purchases such as appliances and electronics.

The catch, of course, is that you have to be a member to access the warehouse.

But now a slew of TikTokers have found a way around the requirement: buy gift cards for Costco that can be used to buy anything inside, even if you’re not a member.

In a clip that has been viewed more than 6.6 million times, TikToker Amin Shayko shows viewers that flashing a Costco gift card will get you access to the store.

Please note, however, that once in, you can only spend the amount shown on the gift card if you are not a member.

“For people wanting to do this and you don’t have a membership, please know that the total must be paid with a gift card or they will refuse your payment,” one user commented.

“Remember if you don’t have a membership your card is worth 10% less due to fees,” said another.

“Lol Costco employee here,” said one user who claimed to work at the warehouse chain. “Technically yes. But no membership card to give back. I can’t spend anything more than the gift card, cash only at Costco.”

There are an estimated 830 Costco warehouses worldwide, with approximately 575 located in the US and Puerto Rico.

Costco did not immediately reply toptecheasy.com‘s request for comment or confirmation.
