At school, Jolie met Dustin, who would become her husband. Before they got married on September 4, 2009, they were together for a long time. She was 20 at the time. There are no signs of the power couple breaking up.
She was a big fan of her husband
Jolie is a huge fan and cheerleader for her husband. Dustin says his wife has been there for him since his first fight when he was 18 years old. She was the one who never told him to stop if he ever thought of it. As a big fan, you can always see Jolie cheering for her husband during a fight. She’s been watching her husband for over a decade, so she knows what it takes to prepare, fight, and get through tough times. From the first day she met him, she told him that he is the best person in the world.
Mother of one child
She has a daughter named Parker Noelle. The first child was born on August 20, 2016. A week before he defeated Irish fighter Joe Duffy at UFC 195, Poirer found out that his wife Jolie was pregnant. The couple’s Instagram posts are full of photos of their five-year-old daughter Noelle. The three members of Poirier’s family live in Lafayette, but before the fights he moves to South Florida to train with the American Top Team.
Why did she give Conor McGregor the middle finger?
Jolie’s video went viral after she was seen giving the middle finger to her husband’s longtime rival, Conor McGregor, during UFC 264 in Las Vegas. McGregor had broken his leg in the first round and was ruled a loser after a doctor stopped the fight. McGregor played a mind game with Jolie before the fight by dragging her around for no reason and even tweeting a video stating that Jolie had tried to contact him on Instagram.
Even though he lost to Poirer, he kept saying:
‘I’m talking to your wife. Hey, honey, call me back and we can talk later.’
In response to McGregor’s tweet, Poirier said:
If the tweet was real and his wife messaged him or something, it was a good one. If it was made up, he and his wife would laugh about it while they were at the grocery store. There are rumors that Poirier and McGregor would fight for the fourth time, but that won’t happen since Charles Oliveira defeated him in the title shot. When someone asked if he would fight McGregor again, he said, “Probably not.”
Has own brand sauce
Jolie helps her husband run his business, the hot sauce brand Poirier’s Louisiana Style. Dustin made his brand by partnering with a company from Canada called Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co. He was proud to show that he was from Louisiana in his brand.
